Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (occasional overtime)

Assignment:

6-month temporary assignment with potential for temp-to-hire

Summary

The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, and maintaining inventory at a customer location. This role supports daily warehouse operations, ensures accurate recordkeeping, and maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and put away incoming products, goods, tools, and equipment. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; document and report as needed. Accurately sort, label, and store items on racks, shelves, or bins. Issue and track materials, tools, and equipment; maintain records of issued and returned items. Perform inventory maintenance, including cycle counts and reporting results. Enter data into computerized systems to update inventory and track stock levels. Request and track replenishment of inventory. Deliver tools or equipment to work locations as needed. Inspect and maintain tools and equipment; report any defects or wear. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 3 months of relevant warehouse, storeroom, or inventory experience. Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Basic computer proficiency; experience with MS Office or ERP systems (e.g., Vista, SX.e, Prophet 21) preferred. Strong mathematical and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Team-oriented and self-motivated with strong attention to detail. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Steel-toe shoes required.
