Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Management Trainee to join our team. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of retail management. As a Management Trainee, you will be immersed in the daily operations of our store, learning the ins and outs of effective management while contributing to our team's success.

40 hours at hourly rate/5 hours Over time pay

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained. Participate in employee orientation and training programs to enhance team performance. Engage in recruiting efforts, including interviewing potential candidates and assisting with onboarding processes. Oversee inventory management, including stock control, merchandising, and pricing strategies. Support payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records. Collaborate with the management team on budgeting and financial planning initiatives. Utilize POS systems for cashiering duties and sales transactions. Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and resolving any customer issues that arise. Manage shifts effectively, ensuring all team members are aligned with store goals and objectives. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management practices.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age and high school diploma or equivalent

the ability to influence others positively. Previous experience in retail sales or store management is preferred. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Familiarity with inventory control, merchandising, and retail math concepts. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams or projects. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with phone etiquette. Basic knowledge of marketing principles and promotional strategies is beneficial.
