Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing store performance, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and manage inventory will be crucial in driving sales and achieving store goals.

Duties

Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Oversee daily operations including inventory management, merchandising, and store organization. Conduct employee orientation, training & development, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment. Manage payroll, budgeting, and bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial accuracy. Implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent and conduct interviews for new hires. Supervise staff during shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate inventory control and manage purchasing decisions to optimize stock levels. Utilize retail math skills for pricing strategies and sales management. Develop marketing initiatives to promote store offerings and enhance customer engagement. Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and oversee cashiering operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with a strong understanding of store operations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and team members effectively. Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and employee supervision. Proficient in inventory management systems, POS systems, and retail math applications. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred but not required. Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in merchandising, stocking, marketing, or wireless sales is a plus. Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous.
