to grow our brand both online and in-store.

Key Responsibilities



1. Digital Marketing & Content Creation (40% of Role--HIGHEST PRIORITY)



Create and Design Visual Ads:

Develop and execute high-quality, engaging visual content for daily posts and paid ads (Facebook, Nextdoor, Instagram) using tools like

Canva

or similar graphic design software.

Manage Paid Social Campaigns:

Oversee, analyze, and optimize digital advertising on platforms like Nextdoor and Facebook to drive foot traffic and event attendance.

Community Management:

Cultivate brand presence by actively monitoring, engaging, and responding to followers and customers across all social platforms.

Event Promotion:

Utilize social media to drive awareness and sign-ups for monthly community events.

2. Retail Operations & Merchandising (40% of Role)



Oversee daily operations with one other team member, ensuring smooth opening, closing, and excellent customer service.

Drive Sales:

Implement creative visual merchandising strategies for three distinct inventory categories (Gifts, Boutique, Vintage) to maximize appeal and sales.

Inventory Oversight:

Manage the intake, pricing, and display of both brand-new gifts and unique vintage/thrift items.

Cash & POS Management:

Handle all financial transactions, reporting, and cash security.

3. Community Leadership & Programs (20% of Role)



Act as the store's primary community liaison, promoting goodwill and local engagement. Successfully manage and promote the

Kids Trading Post

and

Peso's Reach Out

programs. Ensure the store environment reflects our mission of sustainability and community support.

Required Qualifications & Skills



Minimum of

2+ years of retail supervisory/management experience

is strongly preferred.

The role requires proficiency in social media advertising and organic content creation, including a demonstrable understanding of Facebook Ads, Nextdoor, and content creation tools such as Canva

. Exceptional eye for merchandising and visual design. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a small-team environment. A genuine commitment to our community mission and core values.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
