Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Store Manager

to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, delivering excellent customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth and efficient store operations. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and develop staff in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support all store staff to meet sales and service goals Manage inventory levels, merchandising, and store presentation Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve profitability Recruit, train, and schedule employees Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures Foster a positive, customer-focused environment

Qualifications:

Proven retail management experience (2+ years preferred) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and take calls after hours for employee or store related issues.

Strong leadership with proven supervising and team management experience Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, inventory management tools, and basic bookkeeping applications Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and retail math Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development Knowledge of marketing techniques specific to retail environments including merchandising and promotional campaigns Effective time management with organizational skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties confidently Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer complaints diplomatically Previous assistant manager or managerial experience in retail or grocery stores is highly desirable
