Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring inventory accuracy, and driving sales growth while maintaining a positive shopping environment. The Store Manager will play a pivotal role in implementing company policies, managing budgets, and fostering a team-oriented atmosphere to achieve business objectives.

Duties



Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering, merchandising, stocking, and inventory control to optimize product availability and reduce shrinkage. Manage daily store operations such as cash handling, cashiering, POS transactions, and pricing adjustments with accuracy and integrity. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets through effective marketing, promotional activities, and upselling techniques. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide training & development opportunities, and motivate staff for peak performance. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty. Maintain organizational standards by ensuring cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper store presentation aligned with merchandising guidelines. Utilize retail math skills for budgeting, sales analysis, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. Coordinate with suppliers for purchasing needs and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of products. Monitor shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours while controlling labor costs.

Skills



Proven management experience in retail environments with strong leadership capabilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and interact effectively with customers. Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS software, and retail math principles. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, merchandising, and marketing strategies to drive sales growth. Experience in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated expertise in supervising staff through training & development initiatives while fostering a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of retail sales techniques including pricing strategies and sales management practices. Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining phone etiquette and professional communication standards. Pay: $39,000.00 - $43,500.00 per year
