Estimated annual compensation: $45,000. SUMMARY: The Store Managersets an \xe2\x80\x98upbeat and happy tone\xe2\x80\x99 for the store. He/she ensures that the mission, principles, and Scooter\'s Coffee touchstones are carried out, embraced, and modeled by all employees. The Store Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the assigned Scooter\xe2\x80\x99s Coffee location; directs staff to ensure that customers are satisfied with their experience; and makes certain the assigned location is profitable. The Store Manager may work up to 40-50 hours per week. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Staff Management
Interviews, hires, trains, oversees, and retains all store employees
Schedules shifts for all staff while maintaining efficient labor costs
Responds to employees\xe2\x80\x99 questions in a timely manner
Enforces dress code
Maintains positive employee morale
Product/Store Management
Makes and services specialty coffee and tea beverages
Adheres to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
Ensures product quality and a premium customer experience
Maintains a pleasant store appearance; maintains safe working conditions
Manages inventory; orders and tracks using COGS
Inspects supplies and equipment to ensure they are working properly
Performs open/closing procedures and reports as needed
Ensures employees comply with health and food safety standards and regulations
Investigates and resolves complaints regarding food quality or service
Manages Scooter\xe2\x80\x99s Coffee card sales
Submits payroll
Covers shifts as needed
Other Functions:
Runs errands
Attends meetings
Performs other functions as directed
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Work Experience
High school diploma; associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree in management or related field preferred
2+ years of customer service experience required
2+ years of experience managing staff preferred
Must have a current driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
