Summary

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team at Glacier Stone Supply. In this role, you will play a vital part in our production process, ensuring precision and quality in cutting natural stone products that contribute to our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Operate saws and other cutting equipment to produce high-quality stone products. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting specifications. Conduct regular maintenance on saws and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Monitor production processes for quality control and adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Saw Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in CNC programming and blueprint reading. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with quality control processes and precision measuring instruments. Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred). Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
