Stone Countertop Polisher

Atlantic Stoneworks has been delivering premium stone countertops across Eastern North



Carolina for over 25 years. We are known for our exceptional quality and craftsmanship. We are



seeking a Stone Countertop Polisher to join our team and ensure our countertops meet the



highest standards of finish and quality.



Key Responsibilities



Polish and finish stone surfaces (granite, marble, quartz) using hand-held and



automated tools.



Shape and refine edge profiles, grind and sand to remove imperfections.



Apply polishing compounds, abrasives, and sealers as needed.



Inspect finished pieces for quality, accuracy, and consistency.



Operate polishing tools safely and maintain equipment.



Assist in loading, moving, and positioning stone pieces.



Follow safety protocols and keep work areas clean and organized.



Coordinate with fabricators and installers to ensure project flow.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in stone fabrication or polishing (preferred).



Experience with grinders, polishers, and pneumatic tools.



Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.



Ability to follow instructions and meet production deadlines.



Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime.



Ability to lift and move heavy stone pieces.

Compensation

$16.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience
