Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments using RF scanners and ensure accurate logging of inventory
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
Conduct thorough inventory control to maintain stock accuracy and prevent discrepancies
Organize products on shelves or pallets for easy access and efficient storage
Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and verifying shipping labels
Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including documentation and record-keeping
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves and replenishing retail displays as needed
Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure optimal operation
Collaborate with team members across departments to coordinate product flow and fulfill retail or customer orders
Communicate effectively with team members in multiple languages if applicable to ensure smooth operations
Support additional warehouse duties including cleaning, packaging, or assisting in retail sales when required
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience preferred, with knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanners
Valid forklift certification; experience operating forklifts safely is essential
Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts
Familiarity with inventory control procedures, shipping & receiving protocols, and merchandising practices
Experience using pallet jacks or other material handling equipment is a plus
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock management
Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly valued for diverse team collaboration
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
Basic retail math skills for accurate counting, stocking, and order fulfillment
Knowledge of grocery store or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory
