Job Description

The

Stock Assembler

performs work-station assembly operations to produce components or to assemble those components into a completed environmental test chamber by performing the following duties:

Read, comprehend and follow Department Work Instructions. Properly assemble Stock Assemblies and/or chambers, which may include: Any assembly-type functions, using hand and power tools. Read/use standard measuring devices. Use RTV silicones and similar adhesive/sealants Use cleaning chemicals such as dish soap and aerosol degreasers Perform basic wiring connections and techniques. Braze/solder copper, brass or other similar materials

Helpful Skills and Knowledge

:

Basic math and measuring skills Ability to read (or willingness to learn to read) blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Experience using basic hand and power tools High school diploma or GED Experience with Brazing and/or soldering
