Stewarding Supervisor - Washington Hilton


is looking for a dynamic Stewarding Supervisorto join their Stewarding team! With about 120,000 square feet of meeting space and 3 Food & Beverage outlets, this property is located in the heart of Washington, DC and is the home to amazing events and guests.


The ideal candidate will have a very good understanding of the stewarding operations, will have a min of 1-2 years of runner/supervisor experience in the stewarding department and ideally, in properties with over 600 rooms, knows how to read and action BEOs and is a great communicator! This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to grow their hospitality career.

Shift Pattern:

Fluctuating schedules over AM and PM shifts, with schedules starting as early as 6AM and ending as late as midnight, weekdays, weekends and Holidays availability required.

Pay Range:

$22.07 - $29.42 per hour, final offer based on experience.

What will I be doing?

As a Steward Supervisor, you would be responsible for supervising utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Good understanding of the Banquet functions and Menu sheets and being able to transfer the information to the stewarding team. Supervise, support and monitor utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware for restaurant service Supervise cleaning of work area and physical surroundings Maintain and deliver proper inventory for food and beverage departments Ensure all food and equipment are delivered on time to all functions as specified Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
