Duties



Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across kitchen areas, dining spaces, and event venues to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic chopping, plating support, and ingredient organization under the supervision of chefs or catering staff. Support catering events by setting up tables, arranging serving stations, and clearing after service to uphold high standards of presentation. Buss tables efficiently during service periods to ensure guest comfort and swift turnover of dining areas. Handle food items with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness. Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and storage areas regularly to maintain operational efficiency. Support banquet setups by organizing linens, utensils, glassware, and serving equipment in accordance with event requirements. Collaborate with restaurant or hotel staff to deliver seamless food service experiences for guests or event attendees.

Skills



Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations is highly desirable. Familiarity with bussing, cleaning protocols, and basic food preparation techniques. Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus for handling large-scale events smoothly. Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary and hospitality staff. Good physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting heavy items, and performing cleaning duties throughout shifts. Projected Total Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
