Job Summary



We are seeking a front desk Sterilization Technician at out Springdale Dental Clinic located in Springdale, AR. The Sterilization Technician is responsible for the proper maintenance and sterilization of all dental related equipment. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English or Marshallese/English). Must have strong computer skills, excellent communication, organizational ability, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Some experience working in a healthcare setting strongly preferred. The schedule for this position will be Monday-Thursday 7:45a-5:00p, Friday 7:45a-1:00p.



Responsibilities



Sets up instrument trays for patient care. Cleans, sterilizes and appropriately stores all instruments used in procedures. Maintains patient flow so as to assure prompt service for patients. Maintains treatment room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment to ensure the professional appearance of the dental clinic at all times. Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners, HIPAA/HITECH, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA. Ensures that Community Clinic will not cause or allow any organizational practice, activity, decision or circumstance which is unlawful, imprudent, and negligent, contrary to mission, vision or policies or in violation of commonly accepted nonprofit or professional ethics. With respect to the treatment of users, our Clinic's Staff may not cause or allow conditions, procedures, or decisions that are unfair, unsafe, undignified, discriminatory or preferential, or fail to provide appropriate confidentiality. Ensures that Community Clinic protects our IRS tax-exempt status (501(c)(3) at all times. Ability to travel for activities such as meetings, classes, and workshops. Must be able to travel by air as needed to attend training, conferences, and related activities, including overnight travel. Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications



High school diploma or equivalent required. Bilingual Spanish/English or Marshallese/English is required. Ability to use Microsoft Office software Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
