Position Overview

We are seeking a Per Diem Sterile Processing Technician. No weekend, nights, or holidays. Pay and benefits are highly competitive.

The ideal candidate is a skilled team player, eager to learn, and delivers comprehensive coverage to all aspects of sterile processing in the ambulatory surgery setting. Flexibility and willingness to work is important.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Professional and comprehensive coverage of all aspects of sterile processing in an ambulatory surgery setting. Ensure surgical instruments are in good working condition and ready for use by cleaning, preparing, and sterilizing instruments for surgical procedures. This position will ensure equipment is in good working condition and ready for use by inspecting, testing, adjusting, or calibrating equipment. Accurate recording keeping Assisting in the cleaning of the Operating Room during turn over.

Qualifications

:

At least one year of SPD experience is required, three years preferred. Ambulatory surgery experience preferred. Current BLS or to successfully obtain within 3 months of employment. Willingness to learn and be adaptable. Ability to critically think and assess situations and communicate. CSPDT certification preferred.
