Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment to maintain a safe healthcare environment. Highly Orthopedic intensive with equipment. Prior knowledge of orthopedic instrumentations is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Perform sterilization procedures following established protocols and guidelines.

- Assemble specialized trays

- Work with Vendors and inventory of loaner instruments.

- Operate and maintain sterilizing equipment such as autoclaves.

- Inspect, assemble, and package surgical instruments and trays.

- Monitor and record sterilization parameters.

- Adhere to infection control standards and procedures.

- Assist in inventory management of sterile supplies.

Requirements:

- Prior experience or certification in sterile processing is preferred.

- Proficiency in aseptic techniques to prevent infections.

- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is advantageous.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

- Excellent organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
