Step Van Driver

Job Description
ZFL is an independent contractor for FedEx Ground. In your role, you will be driving FedEx branded step vans and sprinter vans and will deliver small packages to homes and businesses in the Detroit area. The trucks will be preloaded every morning at the terminal in Oak Park, MI. A CDL is not required but we would like 6 months of driving experience. This is a fast-paced environment, perfect for energetic and independent minded people.
Flexible Schedules:
Full-time Sunday-Thursday. Full-time Tuesday-Saturday. Part Time -Weekend work available. Seasonal - Holiday season drivers needed.
:
Safely operate a Step Van or Cutaway Van. Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Follow safe driving practices laid out by FedEx Ground and ZFL. Ability to lift 50lbs and move packages up to 150lbs using a handcart. Complete 80-150 stops per day depending on the route. Efficiently and correctly deliver and pick-up packages to and from all customers. Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must have or be able to obtain a Michigan Chauffer's License. Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen. Six months driving experience, within the last three years. Ability to pass a DOT Physical. No Felonies or DUI's Must be 21 years or older.
