The expected compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 annually.
The Opportunity: STEM Partnerships & Programs Manager
Are you passionate about building connections that inspire the next generation of innovators? The STEM Partnerships & Programs Manager leads the development and management of strategic partnerships with STEM competitions, student organizations, after-school programs, robotics leagues, maker events, and youth innovation initiatives. In this role, you'll expand company presence in hands-on STEM communities by integrating our products into national and international student programs and competitive learning environments. Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, curriculum, and marketing teams, you'll help translate educational goals into meaningful real-world experiences for students. As a key external ambassador within the STEM education ecosystem, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how learners engage with technology and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Identifies, develops, and manages strategic partnerships with STEM competitions, robotics leagues, youth organizations, maker communities, and innovation programs
Develops partnership strategies that integrate company products into competitions, student programs, and experiential learning environments
Coordinates sponsorships, program participation, tournament support, and partner resource packages
Collaborates with engineering, product, and curriculum teams to inform the development of competition-ready kits, challenges, and instructional materials
Serves as the primary point of contact for partner organizations, including program directors, coaches, educators, volunteers, and student leaders
Represents company at competitions, conferences, events, and community gatherings and manages onsite activations as needed
Gathers feedback from partners and participants to inform product improvements, new opportunities, and long-term partnership strategies
Supports internal planning by sharing insights on emerging trends in STEM competitions, youth programs, and hands-on learning communities
Maintains accurate documentation of partnerships, agreements, outcomes, and program performance
Performs other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
2-4+ years of experience in STEM education, youth programs, student engagement, community partnerships, or related fields
Experience working with or supporting student programs, competitions, camps, after-school initiatives, or nonprofit organizations
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain external partnerships
Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, Youth Development, or a related field
Experience launching or scaling partnerships with youth-serving organizations, nonprofits, or education networks
Familiarity with educational robotics, maker tools, coding platforms, or hands-on STEM materials
Experience supporting competitions, challenge-based learning, or experiential education programs
Experience coordinating sponsorships, outreach initiatives, or event-based programs
Work Location
Working a remote schedule, or hybrid schedule if in Boston, MA
Travel Requirements
Moderate travel, typically less than 25%
Travel periodically to attend competitions, conferences, partner events, and onsite activations
Travel may include occasional evenings or weekends
