A Day in the Life as a Steel Field Installer As a Steel Field Installer, you will oversee and execute the installation of steel materials fabricated in our shop according to client specifications. You will be crucial in maintaining our project schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality installations that meet or exceed client expectations. Your Core Responsibilities Accurate Steel Installation: You ensure all steel components are installed according to client specifications and project blueprints.



This includes interpreting installation instructions and performing quality checks to confirm alignment, level, and structural integrity. Safety Compliance: You are committed to following all safety protocols on-site, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) and complying with OSHA guidelines. Before starting any project, conduct safety assessments to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks. Collaboration with Project Teams: You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to coordinate schedules and ensure seamless integration of steel components into the construction project.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

You will operate tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., lifts, welding tools). On-Site Problem-Solving: This role requires identifying and resolving any issues during installation, such as misalignments or unexpected site conditions. This includes making real-time adjustments to ensure successful project completion. Job Profitability and Timeliness: You ensure that each project is completed within budget, adheres to safety standards, meets deadlines, and exceeds the client's expectations.

Reliable transportation. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Able to adapt to construction site conditions. Proficient in operating construction tools and heavy machinery.

Pay & Benefits We offer a competitive pay range of $22 to $25 per hour for our Steel Field Installer based on experience.
