Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as our steam thaw truck operator and become a vital part of our steam thaw operations! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating the thaw truck and boiler efficiently across designated routes. You will need to to be responsible for up keeping the safety standards, be mechanic savvy, be able to fix on the go or trouble shoot issues, have construction experience also your CDL. All paid positions include comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and shut down our box truck and boiler Load and unload appropriate material/tools and setup using techniques while adhering to safety protocols, and performing the job at an effective, and efficiently level. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of vehicle maintenance, and also boiler issues or any other issues with the thaw operations. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures during operations. Ability to effectively communicate to a manager about any issues your having or coming across to get repairs, more material or what's needed in a timely manner. Perform routine mechanical checks or minor repairs when necessary to keep vehicle or boiler in optimal condition.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving. Strong knowledge of operating various types of commercial vehicles/ equipment. Hvac or boiler experience. Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with team members and customers. construction experience is a must mechanic savvy being able to trouble shoot and fix truck or any issues on the fly. safety first. always following the company's safety guidelines and being aware at all times. Strong attention to detail, take initiative, willingness to learn being reliable and dependable.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
