Overview
The Indigenous Rainbow STEAM Program
This hybrid STEAM program centers Indigenous knowledge, land-based science, and creative practice.
Program highlights:
Drone-based ecological science Mycology Creative arts Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) Cultural mentorship and peer leadership
Dates: January 31 - June 30
ONLY-20-hour programrequirement to receive stipend Stipends provided-3 in-person events in Sonoma and Marin Counties Must be
at least 16 years old with parent approval
Participants are paired with Native American and Indigenous Latinx college students to strengthen mentorship pathways, identity affirmation, and academic achievement.
The program culminates in a youth-led symposium and Rainbow Showcase featuring projects that integrate ecology, drone science, art, and cultural value.
