Who We Are

The purpose of The Academy for Little Children is to provide high quality responsive care and a learning environment for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 10 years old. We offer an educational program based upon developmentally appropriate practices in order to help the children develop a strong foundation and gain a positive attitude toward learning. We focus on the children's cognitive, socioemotional and physical growth in order to promote an integrated and effective approach to learning. We maintain a warm, loving environment to instill in the children that this is a place where they can trust, be happy and feel secure.

What You Will Do

The Academy is looking for a creative, positive and motivated individual to join our State Pre-K classroom at our West Warwick location.

In this role, you will oversee the academic and social-emotional growth and development of all children and actively engage with the parents/guardians of children in their care to provide timely feedback on children's progress.

This is a full time, grant-sponsored position with competitive pay and significant professional development training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
