Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Starbucks Baristas working during morning and midday shifts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to serve high-quality coffee and beverages in a fast-paced cafe environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, have experience with food handling and preparation, and possess strong time management skills. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to Starbucks standards Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food safety and food preparation standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for change and sales reconciliation Restock supplies, ingredients, and merchandise as needed throughout the shift Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist in serving customers efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a friendly demeanor

Requirements

Previous barista or food service experience is preferred, especially within the coffee or cafe industry Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work morning or midday shifts, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling Experience with serving, food preparation, cashiering, and retail math is desirable but not required A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team environment
