The Supervisor of Staffing is responsible for supervising the staff and all activities related to staffing for the assigned department(s). Responsible for overseeing, coordinating and producing the employee master work schedule for the personnel in the assigned department(s). Assists the leaders and the department supervisors with staff requests for time off, and ensures vacant shifts are filled. Works closely with payroll to process staff schedules.

GENERAL DUTIES



Oversees the staffing department and is responsible for coordinating, producing and ensuring staffing ratios according to master schedule. Supervises and reviews staffing for upcoming shifts for assigned units. Assists the staff with daily schedules in the assigned department(s). Works closely with the senior staff and identifies additional resources to solve staffing problems. Assists with payroll processing for the designated department(s). Communicates attendance reports to the department supervisors. Communicates open positions to human resources for posting and coordinates onsite orientation/ education. Promotes staffing department goals by selecting, motivating, and training team members. Leads the activities of assigned staffing team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives. Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of the staff.

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
