The California Coastal Commission is seeking a talented addition to its Fiscal & Business Services Unit in San Francisco. Under general direction of the Director of Fiscal and Business Services, the Staff Services Analyst (General) serves as a member of the administrative support team and initiates, reviews, analyzes, develops, and implements a variety of work tasks regarding grants, completes back-up tasks for procurement and other FBS tasks, and also provides support to the FBS team as assigned.
LOCAL ASSISTANCE GRANTS & CONTRACTS
Draft, execute, track, and close local assistance grants and contracts under the guidance of the Lead Grant Analyst
Process invoices for payment, including ensuring all charges are appropriate and applied to the proper codes and funding sources
Create contract shells, purchase orders, invoice receipts, and Supplier profiles in FI$Cal
Ensure agreement documents comply with the Commission's policies and procedures and all statutory, regulatory, and policy resources including but not limited to:
+ State Administrative Manual (SAM)
+ State Contracting Manual (SCM)
+ DGS Management Memos and Bulletins
+ Executive Orders
+ Natural Resources Agency policy directives Ensure all file documentation is in both the electronic and paper files
GENERAL
Cross train in other FBS tasks to function as back-up for tasks such as procurement, invoice processing, facilities tasks, and others
Assist other FBS staff by completing the file closing process, printing, and other support tasks as assigned

Working Conditions
This position is located in the California Coastal Commission's San Francisco Headquarters office. The California Coastal Commission has a hybrid workplace. Telework is available for this position in accordance with the California Coastal Commission's Telework Policy and Procedures with a minimum of 2 days in-person office work per week. This Telework Policy and schedule are subject to change. Travel to the district offices and to Sacramento for training or meetings may be required a few times per year.
