: As a Staff Field Adjuster, you will be a crucial member of our claims department, responsible for conducting on-site investigations, assessing damages, and resolving insurance claims. You will work directly with policyholders, third-party claimants, and other stakeholders to accurately evaluate losses, estimate losses, and provide exceptional service. Your role will play a vital part in ensuring prompt and fair claim resolution while upholding company policies and complying with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and accurate investigations of insurance claims by visiting claim sites, inspecting damages, and gathering essential information and evidence.
  • Evaluate policy coverage, determine liability, and assess damages by analyzing policy terms, reviewing documentation, and applying industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing concerns, answering inquiries, and ensuring policyholders feel supported and informed.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of claims activities, including site visits, interviews, photographs, and reports, following company protocols and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as quality control and management, to ensure efficient and effective handling of claims.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and legal developments to maintain a high level of expertise and deliver quality service to our customers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, insurance, finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a field adjuster or similar role in the insurance industry, preferably in property and casualty claims.
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims handling procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess damages accurately and evaluate complex claims situations.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in using claims management software, mobile applications, and other relevant tools such as Xactimate and Symbility (Corelogic)
  • Possession of relevant certifications, such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Associate in Claims (AIC), is a plus.
  • Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel as required for field investigations.
  • Catastrophe deployments may occur for up to 21 days in a row.
