Staff Development Nurse (0560003)
Higginsville Habilitation Center (HHC) is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health that supports individuals receiving 24/7 services in a group home setting. We are recruiting for a Nurse for a Staff Development team. The Staff Development Nurse needs to be outgoing, detailed orientated, be a team player, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be responsible for teaching L1MA class, both the initial class and annual refresher, administer various vaccines, and coordinate FMLA and workers compensation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse and 2 or more years of experience.
SCHEDULE: Scheduled to work 8:00am \xe2\x80\x93 4:30pm with Saturday and Sunday as days off, but flexible as needed.
