Participate in the ongoing development and coordination of orientation for new team members. Train key sessions such as Safety Care, CPR and Culture. Ensure that all trainings are tracked and documented.
2 Utilizing an electronic tracking system (Therap and Relias), identify all staff needing training recertification. Ensure that all supervisors are notified of the training needs in a timely manner. Schedule and coordinate all recertification trainings.
3 Ensure on-going quality care of individuals by conducting observations of staff/client interactions, activities, client appearance and environmental safety. Provide feedback and training to staff and document concerns for Program Directors and Coordinators of Support Services.
4 Ensure all training credentials are up to date and valid. Provide oversight of other trainers to ensure valid credentials.
5 Maintain current knowledge in topics related to the field of developmental disabilities, service provision, quality services, supervision, group management, team building, documentation and all local/state/federal training regulations.
6 Maintain continuous quality communication with the Program Director and Human Resources Manager on all orientation, training and quality assurance issues.
