located in Knoxville, TN is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate
Staff Development Coordinator / Central Supply Nurse
to assist with staffing competencies and development for our nursing employees. As the Staff Development Coordinator, you will also manage the facility central supply to ensure all supplies are ordered, organized and accounted for.
This position is full time working Monday - Friday day time hours.
Current LPN license in the state of TN
Previous experience in long term care or skilled nursing
Strong organizational skills, leadership, and communication
Ability to assess staff competences and provide feedback
Commitment to fostering a supportive and professional learning environment
Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation and ongoing education programs for nursing staff
Ensure staff compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies
Conduct competency assessments, skills validation, and continuing education
Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and documentation for nursing staff
Oversee central supply functions including inventory management, restocking, ordering, and distribution of medical and nursing supplies
Ensure central supply areas are organized, sanitized, and compliant with infection control and safety standards
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Assist in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory readiness by supporting staff education
