Pay range: \xe2\x80\x8e$22.96 - $36.74 / hr

Rates of pay are based upon relevant years of experience, education and certifications. Our talent acquisition team will help you understand how your direct experience will be considered.

Job Overview:

Provides administrative support to the Staff Development department under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures.

Primary Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Acts as an administrator for the AVH learning management system with the direction of the Staff Development Specialist.
  • Consults with Staff Development Specialists timely and appropriately.
  • Manages staff development email, calendar, book library, supplies, and room scheduling.
  • Assists with the maintenance of staff development training equipment per industry standard.
  • Provides clerical support and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Provides excellent customer service, serving as the first point of contact for the department. Answers general questions.
  • Assists Staff Development Specialists with special projects and other special events.
  • Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for own professional decision making and professional growth.
  • Follows all security, confidentiality, and privacy policies.
  • Follows Hospital compliance plan and policies, including the Code of Conduct.
  • Participates in required training for compliance related activities (HIPAA, Compliance, Patient Safety, TJC, etc.)
  • Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for own professional decision making and professional growth.
  • Actively participates in quality improvement processes.

  • Demonstrates the ability to assess and interact with customers of all ages, recognizing language and learning barriers, and technology challenges.
  • Able to perform duties during an emergency.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using HealthStream preferred
  • BLS preferred
