About the Role As a Staff Accountant, Revenue you will support the proper accounting and reporting of Sales Revenue, working with the Finance, Order Revenue Management, Supply Chain and Sales organizations. The primary responsibilities include ensuring the proper cutoff of revenue, preparing reconciliations and journal entries, and supporting reporting and audit requests. This position will work with finance and commercial leaders to achieve the growth and profit objectives for the North America region of the Lifestyle Consumer Audio business. The North America region is headquartered in Northridge, California with annual revenues of over $900 million. Your Team You will report to the Manager of Finance for Lifestyle Consumer Audio for the North America region. What You Will Do Ensure the proper cutoff of revenue. Work with functional leaders to confirm the recognition of sales, including receipt of goods, cutoff procedures and invoicing based on terms with customers. Review results and understand key drivers vs. Plan and prior periods. Prepare reconciliations and journal entries. Reconcile and maintain various customer programs, prepare COPA to GL reconciliations and support other accounting requirements. Ensure proper compliance with accounting standards and support the month-end close process. Support reporting and audit requests. Work with internal and external audit to ensure full compliance with requirements for revenue cutoff related requests. Work closely with Finance Manager to support monthly financial close process, accounting and audit requirements. What You Need Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics 1 to 3 years related experience in revenue accounting, general accounting or operations Accounting skills, including experience with preparing reconciliations, accruals and journal entries Ability to work with finance and operational teams in a multi-location environment Experienced with advanced ERP systems and Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup) Detail oriented, curious and able to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal What is Nice to Have Experience in the Consumer Electronics, Consumer Products or related industries Proficient in working with SAP/BPC and related systems Knowledge of visualization tools (eg. Tableau) What Makes You Eligible Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic and international travel Be willing to work 3-5 days a month in an office in Northridge, CA. Mandatory first 2-3 months onsite training Monday- Friday. Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment What We Offer The standard base salary for this position is $81,000 -$99,000 plus applicable bonus.
