Staff Accountant

We are looking for a staff accountant to strengthen our Finance team in NYC. With us you can use the finance skills you have acquired so far for the fastest growing music company. You work closely with local as well as international Finance teams, and assume month end close reporting responsibilities. You also work closely with other teams across the organization to provide accounting support. What You\'ll Be Doing.

  • Perform the key finance roll in the newly launched procurement / PO process and system.
  • Support the Account Receivables process, including processing incoming cash receipts, working with cross functional teams to accurately and efficiently process cash, research unknown receipts, implement new systems and processes.
  • Assist internal and external audit requirements to ensure clean and timely audits.
  • Help with special projects and workflow process improvements and inquiries from CFO, SVP Finance, Senior Director, Group Accounting and Shareholders, and other department leads and teams.
  • Support an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close. Including, but not limited to, preparing and posting journal entries, account review and analysis.
Must Haves.
  • Previous financial accounting experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required, including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent detail orientation and high reliability.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Nice to have skills & experience (Plus, not a must!)
  • Public accounting experience
  • IFRS experience
  • Inter-company reconciliation experience
  • SAP FI experience
  • Procurement / PO experience
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Business with a concentration in Accounting/Finance

Pay Range

$60,000 - 70,000 per annum

The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
