Staff Accountant / Human Resources Specialist

to join our team and help support both our financial operations and employee experience.

Position Summary



The

Staff Accountant / Human Resources Specialist

will play a key dual role in managing accounting functions and supporting HR operations. This position is ideal for a well-rounded professional who enjoys balancing numbers with people-oriented responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities



Accounting Duties:



Perform general accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing. Oversight of vendor invoices, payments, and expense management. Prepare financial statements and support annual audits. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Support internal controls and process improvements.

Human Resources Duties:



Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes. Process payroll and manage employee benefits administration. Support recruitment efforts, including job postings and interviews Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Handle employee relations with professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications



Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or HR roles preferred. Understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Integrity, discretion, and a positive team-oriented attitude.

Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm Full-time (40 hours per week)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
