Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented

Part-Time Stable Hand

to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, cares deeply about animal welfare, and wants to be part of a calm, organized equestrian program. Prior horse experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right hardworking, safety-conscious candidate.

Responsibilities

Daily tasks may include:

Feeding hay, grain, and supplements Cleaning stalls and maintaining bedding Filling and scrubbing water buckets Turning horses in/out Sweeping aisles, cleaning tack areas, and maintaining barn cleanliness Assisting with basic horse care (blanketing, fly gear, light grooming) Monitoring horses for injuries or changes in behavior and reporting to management Grooming and tacking horses

Requirements

Previous horse handling experience preferred Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in all weather Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail Ability to work independently and follow established barn procedures Respectful, positive attitude toward horses, clients, and coworkers

Schedule & Pay

Part-time: 20 hours per week

Morning and evening shifts (Tuesday-Friday)

Morning shift 9-2pm; evening shift 4-9pm (flexible)

Competitive hourly pay based on experience
