Description:This is a unique opportunity for eligible applicants to obtain a security clearance for a future opportunity at Lockheed Martin Space while continuing to work for their current employer or in their LM position. This position is open to external job candidates as well as Lockheed Martin employees. Selected applicants must meet the qualifications of the position and accept the job offer for the clearance process to start. Once the clearance is granted, ~6-12 months, Lockheed Martin will offer an updated and final compensation package if necessary.

The MS3 Strategic Mission Management team is looking for software engineers to craft and build innovative solutions for our customers. You will be part of an Agile team that utilizes state of the art commercial standard methodologies such as DevSecOps (automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, etc.) and modern development tools. You will participate in progressing system capabilities from early design through site acceptance focused on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices. Basic Qualifications:

  • Web Development experience
  • Experience with at least one modern Javascript framework (React, Angular, etc)
  • Experience working with users/stakeholders to define clean and usable website designs
  • Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: HTML, CSS (SCSS), Javascript, Bootstrap, NodeJs
  • TS/SCI Required
Desired Skills:
  • Cloud-based technologies
  • DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Continuous Integration\\\\Automated Testing\\\\DevOps
  • Experience working in Agile teams using SAFe, Scrum, Kanban or other methodologies and/or understanding of Agile development concepts
  • Understanding / proficiency in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
  • Strong background developing /debugging and/or testing of web applications and web services
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
