About the Role:

As a Senior Strategy & Management Consultant supporting our Federal government client, you will be responsible for providing programmatic and business operations support. In this role, your primary focus will involve conducting thorough reviews of Research and Development (R&D) investments, supporting impact statement development, return on investment determinations, partner engagement, and emerging technology discussions. Additionally, you will play a key role in the introduction and enhancement of cutting-edge technologies and strategies, contributing significantly to our client\'s mission.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Provide direct support to Rapid Response Analysis and Strategic and Contingency Studies.
  • Maintain and update the client\xe2\x80\x99s strategic plan, including the development of implementation plans for special projects and contributing to the establishment of programmatic and governance policies.
  • Assist in responding to critical priorities and events, providing timely evaluation and capability delivery to inform department leadership and facilitate collective action against emerging threats.
  • Assist in developing and managing a framework for gap identification and program execution, aligning the department\'s strategic direction with business processes and administrative oversight.
  • Offer expert advice on the enhancement of business processes and procedures to align with the strategic direction of the client.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and update of strategic and process documentation, creation of training materials, and communication strategies.
  • Interface with various stakeholders, including Interagency, Industry, Academia, Research Institutes, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial partners, and International Partners, to facilitate communication, meetings, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the scouting and scanning for future technology solutions that are market or operationally disruptive. Assist in the analysis represented by these potentially disruptive technologies and the development of capabilities to take advantage of them or to counter them if employed by adversaries.
Location:

You will work as part of a dynamic team in Washington, DC.

Required Experience/Skills:
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Possess a background in homeland security or a supporting organization and be familiar with governmental agencies and their functions
  • An active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility
Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Previous DHS experience
