Be Part of a pivotal transformation as Thrivent's HR teams adopt a product operating model. In this role, you'll help lay the foundation for one of our first HR product teams and influence the direction of future products. Your initial focus will be leading the performance management team, with opportunities to take on additional product teams as they are established. The Scrum Master II is a "servant leader" who helps teams follow Scrum.
The Scrum Master II has expert level understanding of the Scrum framework, Scrum values, Agile principles and values in the Agile manifesto. This person is sought out to coach other teams on the subtleties of Scrum.
They partner effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities and product delivery, planning and executing on product tasks and driving for results through both product team members and stakeholders. They leverage technical/functional subject matter experts to maximize velocity for product completion, carefully balancing the three constraints of cost, time, and scope to best suit the needs of the business and the enterprise.
They ensure accountability, transparency, and regularity in product status updates. They serve as a leader in the deployment of Agile methodology and processes for assigned line of business product being supported by Information Technology.
