Position Overview
We're looking for a
Senior Manager, People & Culture
who thrives on ownership, urgency, and engagement. This is not a visionary role--we don't need someone to dream up ideas we'll never use. We need someone who
gets it, executes, and performs
with confidence and attention to detail, while keeping business goals and people needs in balance.
As a key member of our Extended Leadership Team, you'll drive our people strategy execution with support from Senior / Executive Leadership, lead people operations, and foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and growth. You'll be trusted to make decisions, handle risk and sensitive matters with confidence, and step into tough conversations when needed--all while building trust and connection across the organization.
What You'll Do
Lead and execute People & Culture strategies aligned with company goals.
Oversee recruiting, onboarding, development, and performance management.
Build and promote programs that drive engagement, compensation, and recognition.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders while protecting the business and advocating for employees.
Ensure compliance, manage risk, and standardize HR processes with scalability in mind.
Lead, develop, and inspire a small HR team and external partners.
What We're Looking For
7-10 years progressive HR/People leadership experience.
Confident, self-assertive decision-maker who owns outcomes.
Strong attention to detail--someone who doesn't miss things.
High sense of urgency with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
Persuasive and collaborative--able to influence while supporting.
Comfortable handling tough conversations with fairness and respect.
HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) strongly preferred.
You'll have autonomy to run People & Culture your way--within a framework of business goals, compliance, and accountability. You'll be part of a leadership team that values results, expects precision, and respects those who can deliver with confidence and urgency.
Profit sharing & retirement: SEP IRA contributions and annual profit-sharing bonuses
Health benefits: affordable medical, dental, and vision plans
Career growth: ongoing development, advancement opportunities, and a promote- from-within culture
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Standard office setting with occasional branch visits.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Some travel and occasional evening/weekend work required (<10%)
