Sr. Infrastructure Engineer Kubernetes (remote)

About the Role:
CrowdStrike is hiring for a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to help take our Kubernetes and metrics platforms to the next level. We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on Engineer with experience using several open source projects commonly found in large scale deployments. The right candidate will have in depth experience with Kubernetes, its many add-ons, Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, and Grafana. Additionally, the candidate will have experience and opinions on how to ensure reliability of platforms that are operating at massive scale.
What You\'ll Need:
Kubernetes
Prometheus
Thanos
Alertmanager
Python, Bash
Experience with large scale, business-critical Linux environments
Experience operating in clouds, preferably Amazon Web Services
Experience operating in custom data centers
Familiarity and ability to manage on call shifts
Bonus Points:
Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams
Rock solid communication skills, verbal and written
A combination of confidence and independence\xe2\x80\xa6with the prudence to know when to ask for help from the rest of the team.
Bachelor\'s degree in an applicable field, such a CS, CIS or Engineering
