This position is for a finance & business operations analyst to support the Weather and Earth Science (WES) market area in Commercial/Civil Space Line of Business.
Responsibilities will include working directly with Program Management, Finance Management and Control Account Managers to ensure compliance with all PPM and financial process requirements.
Specific tasks include: weekly contract cost tracking; cost/schedule variance analysis and reporting; generation of financial reports; staffing/manpower planning analysis and reporting; EAC/CEAC analysis; identifying risks and opportunities and making recommendations to contain program cost exposures; coordination of monthly status and updates in EVM tools; working directly with Program Management and Control Account Managers (CAMs) to develop and maintain contract budget baselines; Budget Change Request (BCR) and Estimate at Complete Change Requests (ECR) analysis and incorporation into financial tools; partnering with Planning staff to properly integrate cost and schedule; supporting the development of proposals and ROM estimates as needed; participating in program and customer reviews; and other financial research projects as required.

- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Ability to work in data prep/analysis/visualization software (Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Python)
- Earned Value Management Experience
- Budget Baseline and Management Experience
- Working Knowledge of COBRA, Microsoft Tools, and SAP
- Proposal Development Experience
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to work with large datasets
- Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial issues to peers, management, subcontractors and Internal and External customers
- Proactive, able to develop strategic process improvements
- Must work well in team environments
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- 3+ years of related experience with a bachelor's or masters degree in a related field

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
