Role Summary
The Facilities Operations Coordinator will begin as a Facilities Project Launch Coordinator. In this initial capacity, this person will play a key role in the launch of the R2 facilities expansion and other internal projects, working closely with the Project Manager, Facilities Operations.
After the launch, the role will transition to provide direct support to the Manager, Facilities Operations, and other internal Rivian teams. The primary responsibility of this position will be to manage the day-to-day operations of the Bloomington-Normal facilities, ensuring an excellent experience for all Rivian staff and guests.
Responsibilities

R2 facilities launch support including purchasing and PO management, project coordination, vendor contracts, occupancy planning and cross functional Rivian design and construction support
Implement the facilities management programs and procedures needed to keep the Rivian facility operating at its best
Create and respond to work orders promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Engage with contractor relationships for facilities support
Reception and guest support, mail services, office supplies and equipment maintenance, safety and security support
Regularly conduct space walkthroughs to ensure the highest quality of space cleanliness, organization, and proactive maintenance needs to maintain the most polished facility imaginable
Coordinate the delivery of site amenities which may include food services, transportation, and move support while acting as the site's key point of contact
Update and maintain accurate records and official documentation for all sites
Conduct regular space audits while ensuring moves, adds, and changes are updated, desks are cleaned and organized
Execute the purchase of requisitions, credit card purchases, and expense reconciliations
Champion landlord lease execution for ancillary spaces via end user feedback, issue tracking and project resolution
Support all event requests by receiving the request, working with events team stakeholders, identifying space, managing vendors, and budget, procuring additional resources as needed
Perform other facility management operations as identified by your manager
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in an impeccable facilities environment, property management, hospitality, or related field is preferred.
Manufacturing or corporate environment experience a plus * A positive attitude with an endless drive for improving the workplace experience
An eye for cleanliness and attention to detail
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving/critical thinking skills
Basic Google Suite abilities and proficiency in a range of information technology tools
Experience with programs like Figma, ACC, Bluebeam, Coupa, MaintainX, ServiceNow, SAP, SpaceIQ preferred but not required
Experience with lease administration
Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and help with moves or other light tasks as needed
Friendly and warm disposition to greet cross functional partners
A service-oriented personality, self-motivated, confident, energetic, and flexible
The ability to spend extended hours walking multiple sites and travelling to other Rivian locations as needed
Exposure to the outdoors, dust, and high noise levels is likely
Strict adherence to proper safety protocol will be always expected
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Illinois Based Applicants: $71,000 - $88,800 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
