PSE\'s Safety & Corp Shared Svcs team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Sr Business Analyst position!

Demonstrates knowledge of and support for internal and external reporting; performs data analysis to measure performance and identify efficiency opportunities; develops and maintains business rules for functions and processes; participates in collaborative teamwork efforts to improve day-to-day operations and meet SQIs as mandated by the WUTC, other department key indicators, and corporate goals.
Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE\xe2\x80\x99s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.
Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations

Job Responsibilities


  • Initiates, leads, and performs analysis and provides recommendations involving complex business problems.
  • Leads department analysis and creation of dashboards, KPIs and reporting to provide timely and relevant metrics and analysis for Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), sustainability, and performance.
  • Leads and manages internal and external project teams on various process improvement initiatives (TPRM Program) and customer service projects.
  • Routinely applies process improvement methodologies to business processes and procedures;
  • Fosters trusting relationships with business partners; developing a deep understanding of how to best deliver supplier risk, DEI and sustainability analytics services.
  • Utilize TPRM, Supplier Performance. DEI, and Sustainability technology to execute tasks and activities on regular basis
  • Support Procurement\xe2\x80\x99s Strategic Sourcing organization\xe2\x80\x99s suppler performance management by developing accurate and insightful analysis on relevant supplier information; with the focus on supplier risk mitigation, DEI, and Sustainability
  • Conducts research and analyzes business performance data from multiple sources, provides data for business performance reviews including performance to plan metrics for Procurement and various other strategic organizations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, accounting or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
  • 5 years work experience as an analyst
  • In-depth knowledge of systems and processes crucial to department operations.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills in a complex environment, with exceptional PC skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SAP and CIS.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a multi-team environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.


Desired Qualifications


  • Knowledge of internal process flows and the effects to other departments.
  • Knowledge of internal audit processes, with the ability to identify and implement corrective action plans enterprise wide.
  • Knowledge of TPRM, Supply Chain, and Procurement areas.
  • Experience with warehouse/distribution operations and logistics processes.
  • Experience in creating portfolio performance monitoring dashboards using various supply chain performance SAAS solutions or a similar business intelligence tools.
  • 3+ years of experience with project management processes and/or data analytics
  • Certified Agile Scrum Master.
  • Ability to conceptualize and recommend solutions to business problems.
  • Working knowledge of filed rates and tariffs.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodology.
  • Ability to create a positive work environment.

The pay range for this position is $73,900.00 - $122,900.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
