We are looking for passionate people like you to join us in our mission to "Offer the Best of Nature"!Key Accountabilities Assist with scheduling planting, fertilizer application, irrigation, and harvestSupervising inspections of cellars and fieldsPromote best practices for storing peasManage the risk of volunteer soybeans on certified / commercial peasResponsible to establish a seed production program and distribution system / and aligned economic benefitDevelop a sustainable / and regenerative crop research program to support the processing plant, and delegate deliverables to team members.Evaluate potential of variety / lines from proprietary breeding programActively participate in training of Field brokers, as well as producers for RQ protocol raw materialsAssist in management / relationship with external stakeholders (Canadian Grain Commission) and support / development of related documents (Grain License, grain receipt, grain purchasing contract, field trials documents, research studies)Provide a positive impact on the organization by leading, mentoring, and coaching team members - improving engagement and participation, development of experience as well as a culture of excellenceAbility to prioritize operations in light of multiple priorities and conflicting demandsTeam player with an ability to participate in cross-functional teamsAble to lead with a clear focus, and integrity to assist team members in reaching their goals.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical with excellent listening, communication, and problem solving skills.Strong research, decision making, critical thinking skills, preparedness.Awareness of industry trends, technology, and developments.Sales and presentation skills are also a major plus.Specificities: Participate in continuous improvement programsUnderstand and respect the rules concerning safety, quality, hygiene and the environment.Maintain confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the Roquette Pea processing plant and its operations.Qualifications Education: Graduate degree (Agriculture) - Crop Science or Agronomy / Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) in Agronomy, with relevant field experience and research study requiredExperience: Minimum of 8-10 years working in AgronomyMinimum of 8 - 10 year working in Crop and Soil ScienceRequirementsValid driver's license and willingness to travel.Ability to work outside, stand, walk, kneel, and stoop for extended periods.Business Trips (Percentage): up to 50%Roquette provides numerous career opportunities, thanks to the diversity of its jobs and their international dimension.Joining Roquette means joining dynamic teams ambitious for success.Add Your Talent to Ours!
