Beach Lake Sprinkler Fire Protection Services, a subsidiary of Davis-Ulmer Sprinkler Company, was founded in 1992 and is a well-rounded fire protection company with two offices: Beach Lake, PA and Brooksville, FL. We excel in new construction, renovation, retrofit, and service work for warehouse, distribution, pharmaceutical, hospital, nursing home, industrial, residential and retail markets.



As a result of continued growth, we are actively looking to add a Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice to our team in Brooksville, FL. Our Fire Sprinkler Fitters are responsible for installing integrated overhead piping systems for fire suppression as well as maintaining and repairing all types of fire sprinkler systems and their components. While the majority of this work is automatic sprinkler systems, you will install and service a wide variety of other fire protection systems and equipment such as standpipes, clean agent, and foam systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. Perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, threading, and installing piping. Carry and organize tools, equipment, and materials on the job site. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications with guidance. Work with various pipe materials including steel, copper, and CPVC. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate and communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members. Clean up job sites and handle proper disposal of materials. Participate in ongoing training and classroom instruction as required by apprenticeship program.

Job Qualifications:

Valid Driver's license High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Basic understanding of hand and power tools. Good physical condition; able to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces. Ability to follow instructions and work respectfully as part of a team. Willingness to learn and a strong attention to detail. Good communication skills.

Work Environment:

Construction sites, commercial and residential buildings. At the ceiling level using ladders and lift platforms at heights ranging from 8-20 feet and in some cases up to 100 feet. May require working outdoors, in varying weather conditions, and at heights. Apprentices receive safety training to improve manual dexterity in handling the tools of the trade without injury and to reduce the risk of injuries from falls
