We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sports Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports medicine and demonstrate expertise in patient care, assessment, and treatment. This role involves working closely with athletes and active individuals to provide comprehensive medical support, including injury prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients with sports-related injuries or conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include medication administration, physical therapy referrals, and rehabilitation strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and overall health maintenance. Stay updated on the latest advancements in sports medicine practices and clinical research. Provide telehealth services when necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Experience

Candidates should have a robust background in various medical settings. Preferred experiences include:

Clinical experience in emergency medicine, acute care, or sports medicine. Experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers. Proficiency in procedures like phlebotomy, catheterization, and diagnostic evaluations.
