Coordinates spiritual care services, including on-call scheduling of Chaplain Volunteers and Chaplain Assistants. Responsibilities include providing services to meet the spiritual needs of patients, provide information related to Advanced Directives. Facilitates bereavement services and committees in collaboration with other departments. Also responsible to develop spiritual care services that are available within the community and to assist with establishing and achieving department goals. Incumbent required to hold American Association of Christian Counselors Certification or National Association of Catholic Chaplains Certification upon hire.

Education And Credentials



Masters Degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry or Divinity required. Incumbent required to hold American Association of Christian Counselors Certification or National Association of Catholic Chaplains Certification upon hire.

Experience

3 years of experience in Chaplaincy, Pastoral Care, Bereavement support required.
