Speech-Language Pathologist

AnthroMed Education provides the best Special Educators, School Social Workers, and Speech-Language Pathologists to both public and charter school districts throughout the greater Boston and Massachusetts area!

Our organization is urgently pursuing a Speech-Language Pathologist for an amazing school district in Somerville, MA on a full-time basis! They will also be required to work Monday-Friday! This role starts immediately until the end of the school year!

Job Duties Include:

-Have experience working in a school setting

-Complete required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.

-Meet regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss individual students\' modifications or adaptations, ongoing learning issues, interventions, or problems.

-Work collaboratively to ensure students\' needs are met.

-Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and students on progress.

-Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records.

-Attend staff meetings and serve on appropriate committees.

-Conduct speech and language case study evaluations.

-Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement.

-Develop an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) for each student placed in speech-language therapy.

-Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

-Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

-Current and Active Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education License of Speech-Language and Hearing Disorders (All Levels)

-Current and Active Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

-Be able to commute to Somerville, MA 02143
