Speech Language Pathologist: 2023-2024 School Year

We have an immediate, full-time, Speech-Language Pathologist opening for the 2023-24 school year with our partners in Bellwood. This position will be responsible for providing services to 25 early childhood students in blended and instructional classrooms. This is a highly supportive and community-focused elementary school that will provide excellent resources to SLP\xe2\x80\x99s and their students. • Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
• Provide services to a caseload of 25 PreK and Kindergarten students
• Case Management of speech only kids
• Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students with growth needs
• Assist special education coordinators with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students\' speech and/or language needs
• Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
• Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
