Position Overview:

We have an immediate Speech-Language Pathologist opening with our school partners in Salem! This high school focused position is in a highly supportive and community-focused school. Here you will find that the teaching staff, administration, and families work collaboratively to achieve student success. The wonderful student-to-staff ratio will allow you to enjoy an outstanding level of support and instructional services.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilization of AAC devices in school settings (i.e. object boards, communication books, low-tech/high tech)
  • Manage caseload of 43-50 students with diverse needs
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop treatment plans that are strength-based, as well as student-centered
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to implements modifications and strategies that will support student success
  • Attend and facilitate IEP meetings in order to track student needs and growth
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • DESE License eligible in the state of Massachusetts
