Laboratory Specimen Processing opportunity at Biotech Clinical Laboratory

*EVENING SHIFT Start time: 5pm (8hr shift) Monday- Friday

Responsibilities:

Specimen receiving, sorting and specimen bag opening. Ensure specimens are labeled properly and the correct specimen has been submitted for the requested laboratory test by comparing the specimen label to the accompanying requisition. Use computer system to enter laboratory test orders and patient demographics You will assign and identify bar coded numbers to a test request form to ensure all specimens received match the identification on the form and all requests are processed.

Requirements:

1 yr experience in specimen processing

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.

Attention to detail is a high priority. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Data entry experience preferred
